On International Women's Day, Sisterhood celebrates women's songwriting and performing with a lustrous evening of music. They will be handing over the stage to other women performers who might not easily get the opportunity and Sisterhood will be topping off the night with their own special performance.
Sisterhood are a women’s music collective from Leeds who are currently on a mission to empower people across the UK through music. Comprised of four accomplished singer songwriters; Fuzzy Jones, Fran Wyburn, Miranda Arieh and Astraluna who have joined forces to celebrate women in music. With onstage discussion that invites the audience to challenge issues like the gender pay gap and current inequalities. Sisterhood believe in collaboration not competition and perform on each other’s original songs. Their gigs have no headliner, just an awesome girl band set up with lush four part harmonies and great songwriting! This is a unique musical experience. Think the spice girls, but in an alt-Folk/Pop styley!

FAQs
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Parking is very limited at the Centre but there are plenty of options and good public transport links—http://www.chapelfm.co.uk/contact/
And how much does it cost?
We try to keep all our events at Chapel FM as cheap and accessible as possible. This is a Pay-what-you-can gig. We like to make as many as our events at Chapel FM truly affordable so we ask you to decide what you can afford to contribute £2, £5, £8... We won't take any money upfront but you can reserve yourself a ticket through eventbrite and then make your contribution on the door on the night. All moneys raised is split between the artists and supporting our work at Chapel FM.
Where can I contact the organiser with any questions?
