Next Generation: Music

Come join the Grey Ravens, a very accessible group for young people aged 11-18 of all musical ability levels, wanting to develop their musicianship and ensemble skills

The aim of the group is to develop songwriting, composition and ensemble skills by playing and creating music together collaboratively with other like-minded young people, writing lyrics and performing their own songs on stage. We have quite a few opportunities to perform live throughout the year

The Grey Ravens are Chapel FM’s own house band: whenever there is a live event on our radio, there’s a chance for the band to play! Also, Grey Ravens host their own Blue Owl Performance Loft – an open mic for under 25s, which takes place once per half-term in our lovely radio theatre.

Bring your instrument and a piece of music you know or would like to learn and we will work together to make it happen! We have sound equipment available including mics, guitar and bass amps, and a drum kit
