Blue Owl: Young Person Open Mic October 2023

Blue Owl Young Persons Open Mic returns for there first showcase of the new term, come down and watch or be part of the performance.

Come join the Grey Ravens ensemble for an amazing open mic night entirely dedicated for young people under 25 years old.

Bring your spoken word, music, poetry, comedy, drama play or anything else you’d like to share with a welcoming and warm audience. Open to performers at any level, the Blue Owl Performance Loft enjoys an encouraging live audience as well as getting broadcast through East Leeds FM and our YouTube live stream.

To ensure there is enough time for everyone to perform, we ask that each act is limited to three songs or a performance of no more than 10 minutes. The show starts live at 6pm. In order to ensure that you have the opportunity to perform, please ensure that you arrive at the centre by 5:30pm.

We have a range of backline equipment and cables and will supply the following:

* 2 vocal microphones

* 2 electric guitar amplifiers

* 1 electric piano

* 1 bass guitar amplifier

* drum kit (but please bring own breakables!)

For karaoke performances, please provide your backing tracks on a USB memory stick, or send them by email in advance to elliott@chapelfm.co.uk
