Rules and important details for submitting a cake for entry
Cakes can be submitted by bringing them to Chapel FM on Thursday 18th of September 10am-7pm or on Friday 19th of September 9:30-11:30am.
If you do not have any facilities to bake a cake but would still like to participate in the competition, please contact Gemma at the LS14 Trust on 07521275580 as she has some limited spaces available to use the kitchen at kentmere community centre on Thursday 18th of September.
All cakes submitted must come with an ingredients and allergy from declaring any allergies.
Don’t worry the ingredients list will not be shared publicly so if this is grandma secret recipe it will stay a secret.
(CLICK ME) to download this allergies form or come into Chapel FM and speak to Elliott Moon if you need one printing off for you in advance.
Additionally if you are unsure on the key allergens please take a look at the food standards agency 14 Allergens poster
All cakes need to be able to divided into at least 12 pieces, so that there is enough to sell to raise money for the charity and enough for our judges to taste also.
Please get a ticket if you can if you plan on submitting a cake, as it helps us know who and how many people might be making cakes.
