Left of Leeds Experimental Music LIVE!

East Leeds Community Radio’s “Left of Leeds” show and host John Toolan present an evening of live experimental music with three exciting guests:

1) Amon Ra Collective – avant garde jazz band who are inspired by the music of Miles Davis’ electric jazz fusion, John Coltrane’s free jazz and the spiritual world music of Don Cherry.

2) Kinaara – a trio of vocal, electric guitar and drums from Leeds who play Punjabi and Celtic songs presented in Kinaara’s own distinctive arrangements.

3) Terry Yolo – the one-of-a-kind master de-constructer of easy listening music who creates ‘uneasy listening’ soundscapes that encompass elements of drone, ambient and dreamlike tones.
