Mik Artistik, Leeds artist, poet and musician will be delighting one and all with a night of film, art and rock and roll stand up.
It begins with a showing of the 'King Of Nowt', a film about a salesman whose life is a disaster. He's been kicked out by his wife, is sleeping in his car, and is hoping his new venture, selling SELF HELP books, will get him back on the right track.
John Miller, the writer, has worked in Seacroft, will talk about the film and take a few questions.
Part two Mik spent thirty years as a portrait artist drawing people on brown paper bags. He will show some of his bag drawings and talk about his baptism as a portrait artist in Seacroft, as well as telling a few stories of his encounters .
Finally, Mik and Jonny Flockton will perform a 45 minute set of some of their unusual and striking songs.
Mik Artistik's Ego Trip are a strange and wonderful beast of a band and are regulars at Glastonbury and other major festivals as well as appearing on BBC 6 Music.
