For young people (under the age of 26) Matt Abbott, Wakefield born poet, educator and activist will be delivering a free creative writing workshop, focusing on young people, identity and how creativity can support wellbeing and a positive sense of self.
Matt Abbott is a poet, educator and activist. He writes sharp poetry about modern life through critically-acclaimed verse and powerful performance poetry. Matt was the frontman for indie-pop act Skint & Demoralised from 2007-2013, releasing three albums during that period. He's been commissioned to write poetry for Leeds United FC, Nationwide Building Society, Cancer Research UK and the European Youth Forum.
