New Beginnings

Lydia Marchant is part of the BBC’s Writers Academy 2019/20 for which she’s developing work for Eastenders, Holby City and Casualty.

We’ll create characters. Who are they, what do they wear when they’re at home watching TV? We’ll give them a voice. How do they answer the phone to their best mate, speak to their boss, their family? And we’ll send them off on a journey to pursue their vision.
