Chris Sharkey has been creating music in residence at Chapel FM over the last couple of years (see pic above) and we are very pleased he is back for a week in April working with an amazing band. The culmination of the week will be this Friday night performance, premiering a new project for Chris called Scales and Modes.
The music was written during the residency last year and Chris plans to record and film it during the week. He explains: "It's very composed music as opposed to the more improvised stuff I do. Expect an anthemic drive and rhythmic complexity"
Performing with Chris will be:
Andy Champion: Bass
Ed Begley: Keyboards and vocals
Luke Reddin WIlliams: Drums
Joost Hendrickx: Drums
FAQs
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Parking is very limited at the Centre but there are plenty of options and good public transport links—http://www.chapelfm.co.uk/contact/
And how much does it cost?
We try to keep all our events at Chapel FM as cheap and accessible as possible. This is a Pay-what-you-can gig. We like to make as many as our events at Chapel FM truly affordable so we ask you to decide what you can afford to contribute £2, £5, £8... We won't take any money upfront but you can reserve yourself a ticket through eventbrite and then make your contribution on the door on the night. All moneys raised goes straight back into supporting our work at Chapel FM.
Where can I contact the organiser with any questions?
You can always give Chapel FM a call on 0113 22 55 944
