Culture Night is an annual event that celebrates culture, creativity and the arts across the whole island of Ireland.
This year, it will take place on Friday 21st September 2018 and features hundreds of events across Ireland and indeed overseas. To celebrate that initiative we are only too happy to host an evening of Irish literature, music and song at Chapel FM presented by our friends at the Irish Arts Foundation.
Leeds young folk duo Douglas Fir (Martin Parker - accordion, Owen Spafford - fiddle).
Carmel Kelly, Dublin-based author of 3 acclaimed children’s books, telling the gripping story of Fr William Doyle, World War 1 hero, who died 100 years ago in the sinking of the RMS Leinster.
More acts to be announced soon...
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Parking is very limited at the Centre but there are plenty of options and good public transport links. See our website for more details.
And how much does it cost?
This is a Pay-what-you-can event. We like to make as many as our events at Chapel FM truly affordable so we ask you to decide what you can afford to contribute £2, £5, £8... We won't take any money upfront but you can reserve yourself a ticket through eventbrite and then make your contribution on the door on the night. All moneys raised goes straight to supporting the artists and supporting our work at Chapel FM.
Where can I contact the organiser with any questions?
You can always give Chapel FM a call on 0113 22 55 944
