What happens when three poets decide to put on a show? Join Dave, Emma, and Steve as they meet in a pub somewhere a lot like Wolverhampton and plot their path to fame and fortune. Will they be distracted by beer and scratchings? Will they put the world to rights?
‘Fiercely engaging, infinitely accessible, loud, proud and bold. This isn't just poetry, it’s storytelling, and most importantly it’s glorious theatre’. Arena Theatre
Steve Pottinger, Emma Purshouse, and Dave Pitt have played festivals to riotous acclaim throughout the Midlands and beyond.
Support will be provided by poetry from Otley-based publishers Half Moon Books with readings from Nick Allen, Sarah L Dixon, Joe Williams, (Ilkley Literature Festival Open Mic winner 2017) and Alicia Fernández (Ilkley Literature Festival Chap Book Competition Winner 2017).
Chapel FM is proud to host this event in partnership with Red Shed Readings.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Parking is very limited at the Centre but there are plenty of options and good public transport links—http://www.chapelfm.co.uk/contact/
And how much does it cost?
We try to keep all our events at Chapel FM as cheap and accessible as possible. To cover our costs and to pay the performers in this case we are charging £6 per ticket. If you can't afford that for whatever reason then there is a concessionary price of £3.
Where can I contact the organiser with any questions?
You can always give Chapel FM a call on 0113 22 55 944
