Global Big Band: Music Workshops for People of All Abilities

Come and join an accessible and inclusive jam-a-long for musicians of all ages, technical ability level and musical tastes

Course details

The project is to get together as many musicians as possible for an all inclusive jam-a-long where everyone can come and join. Musicians of all ages, abilities, cultural backgrounds and musical style or genre are welcome to join in and be part of our Global Big Band.

We will aim to create some original music together (and maybe learn a few covers as well?). There will be an opportunity to do an informal sharing of the music we create, and perform during the We Art Seacroft festival on Saturday 17th August in Seacroft Village Green, right next to Chapel FM Arts Centre.

Workshops will take place on the following dates and times:
  • Tues 30th June – 3 to 4:30pm and 5:30 to 7pm
  • Weds 31st June – 2 to 3:30pm and 4:30 to 6pm
  • Thurs 1st August – 3 to 4:30pm and 5:30 to 7pm
