Next Generation: Youth Radio

We will be exploring all aspects of radio broadcasting, podcasting, music-making, creative writing and operating technical equipment. We’ll also be teaching skills on editing, recording, hosting and planning which we will use on our special radio show Red Kite. Participants will also get the chance to interview unique people in media, arts, sport and science!

Are you interested in creating something unique and finding your voice?

Our staff team of broadcasters, technicians, writers and musicians will work with the group to learn about broadcasting. This can include hosting, interviewing, teching and making new music, creating poetry and theatre, talking about film and learning how to produce a radio show and podcasts.

Whether you want to try something new, focus on a specific area or meet new people and be part of the Chapel FM team, this group is for you! It’s a chance to be creative and shout about the things you love.

We have two next generation groups:

Next Generation Foundation (ages 11-14) Thursdays 5pm – 6.30 pm

Next Generation Seniors (ages 15-18) Thursdays 7pm – 9pm
