Sound It Out: Summer activities for young people

Sound It Out is four-day project and a chance to get involved with radio, music, tech and creative writing. The second day of the project, we take a trip out to a special location. This mystery trip will be have a special guide too…

The next day we record interviews, create music, raps, poetry, plays, songs, sounds and discussions. This all leads to a live unique radio show on the Friday afternoon on East Leeds FM!

You’ll get a chance to work with professional poets, musicians, radio-makers and technicians and learn new skills. Be part of the broadcast, or work behind the scenes – we all produce something amazing together.
Each day is 10-3pm and totally free.

We will provide free food for everyone each day.
