Have A Go: Make a Black History Month radio show

Ever wanted to make a radio show in just one day?

Over the day we’ll learn some new skills, share ideas and try out some simple technical tricks. It’s a great opportunity to meet new people and try something different! We meet in the morning, and then go live on the air at 3pm! You don’t need to have any previous experience.

We’ll plan and produce a live radio show exploring and celebrating Black History Month. This could be through sharing personal stories and experiences, platforming a historical group or figure, or talking about the music, literature and film we love.

This course is open to 18+ Black people living locally in East Leeds (LS14, LS15, LS8 and LS9).
