Have A Go: Learn to tech a radio show

This session for adults will go through the basics of ‘running the desk’ for a radio show here at East Leeds FM. By the end of the session, you’ll have an understanding of setting up mics, faders and playing music. It’s open to anyone living in East Leeds, no previous experience requuired!

This is a fun, no-pressure session exploring how our Studios work led by our Broadcasting Worker.

It could lead to helping tech shows and recordings in our Studios or other opportunities at Chapel FM Arts Centre.

Chapel FM Arts Centre is Pay-What-You-Can — our philosophy is that everyone should be able to access high quality arts provision, regardless of their financial status. Our projects receive partial funding from various sources. It costs on average £5 per person, per session to run. There is never an expectation for you to pay this, but if you want to contribute, you can pay in the following ways: in cash or card at the beginning or end of sessions, weekly, half termly, or whenever you choose. We are looking to create a ‘donate’ button on the website for future ease. Any funds are gratefully received and go towards the core costs of running Chapel FM.
