Course details

This is our adult learning course that explores different aspects of radio production.

Using a microphone isn’t difficult— it gives you the opportunity to go anywhere and ask anyone anything! Making your own radio programme will let you:

  • learn new skills useful for a range of career opportunities
  • develop your skills in all kinds of interview situations
  • do something creative, worthwhile & fun

If that sounds interesting then come and ‘Find Your Frequency’ with Chapel FM. You don’t need to have any previous experience.

The course is FREE and is delivered over 40 hours, at mutually agreed times.

We will start with an open conversation around your interests and experiences and take it from there. It will give you the combination of technical and presentation skills that you need to create great radio about subjects that interest you!

Chapel FM Arts Centre is Pay-What-You-Can — our philosophy is that everyone should be able to access high quality arts provision, regardless of their financial status. Our projects receive partial funding from various sources. It costs on average £5 per person, per session to run. There is never an expectation for you to pay this, but if you can contribute, you can pay in the following ways: in cash or card at the beginning or end of sessions, weekly, half termly, or whenever you choose. We are looking to create a ‘donate’ button on the website for future ease. Any funds are gratefully received and go towards the core costs of running Chapel FM.
