Join us for OLD WORDS / NEW SONG, a playful, hands-on workshop exploring the art of marrying text and music. Led by composer Hugh Nankivell and poet Peter Spafford, this day is all about experimentation, collaboration, and discovering how surprising sources of language can spark fresh musical ideas.
No experience needed – we’re opening this event to anyone who is curious to learn more. Bring an instrument if you like—keyboards and a piano will be available.
We’ll finish the afternoon with a relaxed sharing of ideas and creations.
11am–4pm, workshop | 5pm-6pm, sharing of ideas
FREE but limited places and booking essential.
