The Dot - a smorgasbord of alternative comedy
After a successful first outing at Chapel FM in February, The Dot is returning with another feast of standup comedy. Featuring a mix of observation, character and absurdist humour with some of Yorkshire’s finest up-and-coming comedians on their way to this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Joining host Alex Rushfirth are; Caitlin Powell, Daniel Triscott, Jake Donaldson, and Lewis Crook.
Alex Rushfirth is no stranger to Chapel FM. We know him as an amazing musician and producer; as a spoken word artist; but the other area that he has been developing is in comedy. With successful shows in York and Edinburgh and future London gigs in the pipeline, we are very happy to host the second outing of The Dot in Leeds.
Please note there will be strong language and adult themes in this performance so we are advising it is unsuitable for anyone under 14 years old.
FAQs
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Parking is very limited at the Centre but there are plenty of options and good public transport links—http://www.chapelfm.co.uk/contact/
And how much does it cost?
We try to keep all our events at Chapel FM as cheap and accessible as possible. This is a Pay-what-you-can gig. We like to make as many as our events at Chapel FM truly affordable so we ask you to decide what you can afford to contribute £2, £5, £8... We won't take any money upfront but you can reserve yourself a ticket through eventbrite and then make your contribution on the door on the night. All moneys raised goes straight back into supporting our work at Chapel FM.
Where can I contact the organiser with any questions?
