To Celebrate International Women’s Day Chapel FM Arts Centre are holding a series of live events to celebrate Women In Words and Music…
Molly Rymer is a singer-songwriter from Leeds. Despite being only 18, Molly is a seasoned live performer and has a presence beyond her years. With a natural gift for melody Molly’s astonishing voice reaches into us and reminds of young love and loss. Join Molly as she celebrates the launch of her debut EP ‘Where I Am Now’.
Acclaimed poet and performer Hollie McNish will be joining us to perform poems, read from and chat honestly and openly about her latest book, Nobody Told Me. The book is a unique blend of poetry and storytelling, taken straight from Hollie’s personal diaries. As she states herself ‘it is not a polished collection’; rather, it is a very candid, at times gutting, at others hilarious, look at her experiences from pregnancy to the pre-school drop off. Expect strong language as she talks colours, cravings, politics, transformers, sex, tree-climbing, feeding, train journeys, lots and lots of love and occasionally locking herself in toilets to cry a little. *SECOND ROUND OF TICKETS FOR THIS EVENT WIL GO ON SALE AT 7PM ON SUNDAY 26TH FEB*
We welcome some of the finest local female writers to perform in our stunning Radio Theatre. Performers on the night will include: Siobhan McMahon, Genevieve Walsh, Helen Burke, Gill Lambert with Jo Sedgwick and Helen Shay. Join us for a night of wonderful words!
